Our Laboratories
Computer Lab
Well-designed and separate computer labs for kids and older children, run by a well-educated and qualified faculty, with one-on-one access, which means there is one computer for each child. Pre-primary kids learn words through PowerPoint presentations and innovative software.
We have invested in new ERP software which would further raise teaching-learning-working at RSS to contemporary technological standards.
There are 80 computers in our labs currently. They are state-of-the-art with multimedia, most of them with 17" LCD monitors that are easier on eyes, generate less heat and consume less power thereby keeping the classroom atmosphere comfortable for children. We use our own LAN with Windows XP for teaching-learning, documentation, and presentations. Currently, we can claim 1:10 as the ‘student to computer ratio’ on campus.
Science Lab
The School has well-equipped laboratories For Science. Students are encouraged to use this laboratory to learn through experiments. Every year latest instruments, specimens, charts, etc. are purchased for these laboratories.
Science lab equipment allows students to interact directly with the data gathered. They get a first-hand learning experience by performing various experiments on their own. Students are made to use the models and understand different scientific theories and concepts. There are several scientific theories and concepts that are difficult to explain directly from the books.
Maths Lab
A mathematics laboratory is a place where anybody can experiment and explore patterns and ideas. It is a place where one can find a collection of games, puzzles, and other teaching and learning material. The materials are meant to be used both by the students on their own and with their teacher to explore the world of mathematics, to discover, to learn, and to develop an interest in mathematics. The activities create interest among students or in anybody who wants to explore, and test some of their ideas, beliefs about mathematics.
Rahul Ma Shikshan Sansthan has two Math labs one for junior (classes 1 to 5) and another for senior (classes 6 to 9) section. It is a place where students can learn and explore various mathematics concepts and verify various mathematical facts and theorems using a variety of activities and it is well equipped with necessary kits and tools. It provides an opportunity for the students to understand and internalize the basic mathematical concepts through concrete objects and situations. It provides greater scope for individual participation in the process of learning and becoming autonomous learners.
